He will star with other famous names in the entertain­ment world at the Fabulous Din­ner and Dance Party which is always the highlight of the an­nual National Bowling Tourna­ments and Fellowship Days. Teghze-Gerber is a graduate of the FRANZ LISZT ACADEMY OF MUSIC of Budapest. Five years ago he traveled 38,000 miles, touring the United States and Canada, playing his own compositions before large audiences everywhere. Today he is composing American songs which will be released in the very near future. To aptly describe him, you have to compare him to Stephen Foster for his folk songs and to Ir­ving Berlin for his popular compositions. In addition to his composing, conducting and his tours of musical extravaganzas, he is today head of the piano, organ and accordion department of the Gabriel CZITAS STUDIO, Trenton, Michigan. Mr. Czitas, who owns the studio, is the first violinist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Teghze-Gerber has won “Oscars” for such well-known Hungarian songs as “Ha én gaz­dag lennék,” “Sárgul már a kukorica szár,” “Gyógyitgatom a lel­­kemet,” “Gyalogut-kocsiut,,” “lei pici kis galambom,” and many others. Leader of Famous Twelve-Piece Orchestra Ziggy Bela is not only the leader but also the featured vio­linist of his nationally known twelve-piece orchestra. Rated as one of the best violinists in the country, this celebrity has played before many celebrities. He and his orchestra will play before a vast audience of William Penn members and guests at the Stat­ler Hilton Hotel, Detroit, Michigan, on May 29, 1965, Saturday at 6:00 P.M. The occasion will be the social and fraternal feature of the XXII National Bowling Tournament and Fellowship Days. Ziggy Bela is one of many professional entertainers who will perform during the Fabulous Dinner and Dance Party. INSURE WITH WILLIAM PENN Director’s Son Wins Scholarship We have received the pleas­ant information that Gregory Michael Lang, son of Director Stephen Lang, Jr. of Bethle­hem, Pa. and grandson of for­mer Director Stephen Lang, Sr., has been awarded a four­­year scholarship to the newly established Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales, Center Valley. The announcement was made by the Rev. Francis J. Zavodny, principal of Bethle­hem Catholic High School, where young Lang is a senior. The scholarship awarded this excellent student is one of several offered by the provin­cial superior of the Oblate Or­der to each of the Catholic high schools in the Allentown Diocese. Gregory is president of the National Honor Society at Bethlehem Catholic High School, is a member of the Student Council, Dramatic Club, Glee Club, and has been active in the Forensic League at the school the past four years. He plans to pursue a pre­medical course at the college^ The school will open next September with a freshman class of approximately 150 students.
