William Penn 000 BUFFALO, DOü New York TARAVELLA-LORINCE Nuptials Miss Patricia Ann Lorince, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Lorince of Grote St., Buffalo, became the bride of Salvatore Taravella, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Taravella of Trenton Ave., Buffalo, July 11 in Assumption Church, Buffalo. Miss Irene Sokai, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Helen Beltowski, Mrs. Maureen Brand and Mrs. Frances Cybulski. Flower girls were the Misses Jaimie A. Fox and Carole J. Fox, nieces of the bride. James DePasquale was best man. Ushers were David Cybulski, Sandy DePasquale and Frank Scarpinato, cousin of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was his brother, Michael Taravella. After a reception in Ukrainian Hall, the couple left for a motor trip to Boston, Mass. Upon their return they will live at the Marine Drive Apts. The bride’s family and other relatives are members of the William Penn, and she herself is a third generation member. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore Taravella. JO NEW YORK, New York Pictured is the second group of William Penn members who left via jetliners for a four week European trip. Seen in the lower right hand corner of the picture is Regional Manager and Director Joseph Toma and in the lower left hand corner District Manager Béla Puskas who were at the airport to bid the group bon voyage. We hope that this group is having a pleasant trip and enjoying the sights of Europe. Our sympathies are extended to Director Aloysius Falussy whose brother Dr. A. Falussy passed away recently and to John Hegedűs, Reporter of Branch 48, who recently lost his wife. JOIN AND SERVE YOUR RED CROSS 190 COLUMBUS Ohio The summer picnic of Branch 129, Columbus, Ohio, held on Sunday July 19, was quite successful. Special honors were paid to Mrs. Frank Kertesz of 269 E. Hinnan Ave., Columbus, who was the recipient of the 50-Year Member Emblem. The presentation was made by special guest Louis Vassy, William Penn Director of Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Vassy congratu'ated Mrs. Kertesz on her long membership in the Association and Mrs. Kertesz expressed her gratitude for the honors accorded her. Also at the ceremony was Albert Kertesz, president of Branch 249, Dayton, Ohio, who was very happy to witness his mother’s receiving the fine award from the William Penn Fraternal Association. We welcome Mr. Ruszkai as our new' Branch Manager. 9Q1 CANTON, «•'A Ohio it is with regret that we inform the membership of Branch 391, Canton, Ohio that Mr. Stephen Mikstay, who for many years was the faithful manager of Branch 391 passed away. The late Mr. Mikstay was an active participant in all civic endeavors and was an integral part of the Canton and vicinity American-Hungarian life. He was not only manager of Branch 391, but on two occasions was a delegate to the National Convention. He is survived by his wife and eight children. We extend our sympathies to the Mikstay family. Due to the death of Branch Manager Stephen Mikstay, Branch 391 is being dissolved effective August 1964 and the members of the Branch
