QO BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania RICHARDSON-LANG Nuptials The wedding of Stephanie Chris­tina Lang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Lang, Jr., 1066 Delaware Ave., Bethlehem, to Paul Donald Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Niles Richardson, 804 Center St., Bethlehem, took place on June 13, 1964 in St. Ursula Church, Bethle­hem. The bride, a graduate of St. Francis Academy, is employed in the sales department of Bethlehem ror LOS ANGELES California Steel Co. Her husband, who gra­duated from Bethlehem Catholic High School, is an employee of Frank W. Egan & Co., Somer­­ville, N. J. The new Mrs. Richardson’s father is a Director of the William Penn Fraternal Association, Pittsburgh, Pa., and her grandfather, Stephen Lang, Sr., was also a Director of the Association for many years. We wish the newlyweds many years of happily married life. MEETING — On July 11th, 1964, we held our meeting at the First Hungarian R. C. Society Hall, 1435 Germantown Ave., where we hoped to have a joint meeting with the previous 87 Branch members. Whe­ther due to summer vacations — we officers of 76 were a little disap­pointed that more members did not attend. Please, folks, we are making a sincere plea to make your acquain­tance, and we want ALL members, young and old alike, to make a better effort to come to the meet­ings, and take an active part in our future social affairs! We repeat — meetings are held the 2nd Saturday night of each month, and from now on the place is definitely the Phila­delphia Magyar Club, 1125 South­ampton Road, Phila., Pa., 19116. IN MEMÓRIÁM — Our deepest sympathies are extended to the fa­milies, relatives and friends of the following members who recently passed away: Mrs. Regal, Mrs. Me­­zey, Mrs. Mary Mate and Mrs. John Érsek. Also, we were very sorry to hear that Mr. Rudolph Bolla’s mother, Mrs. Karolina Bolla, died on July 30, 1964 after several years of ill­ness. AUGUST MEETING — On Au­gust 8th, 1964 a meeting was held at the Philadelphia Magyar Club. IMPORTANT NOTICE — Our annual William Penn Branch 76 Dance will be held on “NOVEMBER 14, 1964”. Remember that date, circle it NOW on your calendar! November 14th, 1964 is your An­nual William Penn Dinner Dance! This dance will be held in Phoenix­­ville, Pa. at the Hungarian-American Citizens Club, 224 Hall Street, Phoenixville, Penna. We are very happy that we can hold this affair jointly with our good friends of the Phoenixville Branch 159. Music will be furnished by “Ilona” and her fab­ulous orchestra. Remember, folks, this Dance is for YOU, and your friends. WEDDING ANNIVERSARY — Along with Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Noel, we wish to include our Con­gratulations to their lovely daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. An­thony Keryluk on their Wedding Anniversary, September 7th. May they continue to walk in the road of happiness! GRADUATION — Proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Farkas of Millmont Pa. Their daughter, Dolo­res, has been securing college credits by studying for four years in South America and completing one year in Madrid, Spain. Dolores has just re­cently arrived in these United States to attend her graduation at Middle­­burg College, Vermont on August 11th, 1964 where she finally reached her goal and received her Master’s Degree. Congratulations, Dolores, and may the road ahead continue to be a successful one, and in your trave's, keep in touch. NOTICE — Many members have expressed their desire to be men­tioned in our column. Your Reporter, Julie Melnick Ivyridge 2-3300 The Hungarian Fraternal Day, sponsored by the Branch on July 19, 1964 in the spacious grounds of the Magyar Haz in Los Angeles, was a tremendous success. We owe a debt of gratitude to the tireless women members who toiled without com­plaint in preparing the fine foods and delicacies. In recognition of the fine services rendered to the Branch, it was unanimously resolved at the last Branch meeting that a vote of thanks be given to the following for their work in connection with out Summer Program: Mrs. John Balint, Mrs. Louis Kovács, Mrs. Charles Csapó, Mrs. Michael Szabó, Mrs. Julius Sitku, Mrs. Joseph Va­­rady, Julia Barcik and Helen Korosy. Naturally we wish to express our appreciation to the Branch Officers and committeemen for their fine co­operation also. We send best wishes for a speedy recovery to the following members of the Branch who are sick: Mrs. Maria Papp, Mrs. Peter Vass and Michael Bado.
