The fortunes of life have been cruel to this 32 year old woman who has been a patient at the County Hospital for the past seventeen years, for Eleanor is unable to walk and must be pushed from place to place. Her father is dead and her aged mother can not visit her often. The members of Branch 214 have been kind to their fellow member whom fate dealt a very hard blow, but more attention to this suffering William Penn member would lighten her heavy load of sorrow. We suggest that our fraternalminded and good-hearted memberg show their humanity and love by sending cards, letters and little gifts to Eleanor to cheer her and lift up her spirits.
