Keep up the good work. We recently completed the first Board meeting with our newly elected national directors. What a wonderful few days that was. Every­one participated with great enthu­siasm. We already completed many plans for you, our members. I can't wait until the next meeting. Thank you, members of the Official Family, for making my job so much easier. I am so proud of each and every one of you on this new Board. Thanks, Kathy Novak and Richard Sarosi, for all the nice words. Wasn't the October issue of Wil­liam Penn Life beautiful? You can either bring donations to our meetings, or you can call me and I will be happy to pick up your donations. Welcome new member Linda Antal. Thanks, Shirley Wrobleski, for your confidence in WPA. We are taking a winter break from branch meetings due to our unpredictable weather. We will resume our monthly meetings on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hungarian Reformed Church in Allen Park. We will have many events to discuss at that time, including our Join Hands Day proj­ect scheduled for June 2. We will also discuss our an­nual U.P. trip to Mackinac City, Mich. The trip will include visits to Tahquemeon Falls and the ship­wreck museum plus a St. Mary's River cruise with dinner in the Soo Locks. The trip includes most meals and a gambling incentive pack­age. Your price is $200 per person for four days and three nights. We will leave on Monday, June 18 and return home the evening of Thurs­day, June 21. Please make your reservations with me a.s.a.p. We at William Penn Associa­tion Branch 18 have sent Christmas party invitations to members of our sister Branch 27 in Toledo. We are only a few miles apart and thought it would be nice to get to know each other. I hope all of you reach out to your neighboring branches and try to spend some time together. You can get together at a party, picnic or branch meeting. We are one super fraternal; let's keep it this way for­ever. Congratulations to Darlene Szatmári. She has been chosen as the guest of honor at the 2012 Feher Ro­zsa Bál. I hope we all come out and support this very worthwhile event. The Hungarian Arts Club always works so hard to provide us with a beautiful evening. Hope to see you there.
