Branch News Branch 14 Cleveland, OH ^ by Dawn D. Ward Branch 14 will sponsor an outing on the Nautica Queen, Cleveland's favorite cruise dining ship, Saturday, June 30. Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m., and the ship sails from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Enjoy a delicious buffet and musical entertainment while cruising under historic bridges and experienc­ing Cleveland's ever-changing sky­line. The busy summer will continue with a branch-sponsored bus trip to Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie, Pa., Wednesday, July 11. The bus departs from the parking lot of the First Hungarian Reformed Church, Walton Hills, around 8:00 a.m. and returns around 6:30 p.m. For more information and reservations contact Violet Sarosi at (440) 248-9012. The cost is $25.00 per person and includes round trip transportation, lots of snacks, and raffles. Also in July, there will be a special Branch 14 meeting on Wednesday, July 18, at the First Hungarian Reformed Church, Walton Hills. For more information contact President Lanzara. Branch 14 welcomes new members Braden Wentling and Olivia Krasznai. If any Branch 14 members are interested in attending the 24th annual WPA Golf Tournament July 21, please contact President Lanzara. The next regular Branch 14 meet­ing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bethlen Hall of the First Hungarian Reformed Church, 14530 Alexander Road, Walton Hills. House Was that a super bowling tournament or what? Thanks to all officers, employees, Official Family members and you for again making the week­end a great success. Thank you to all who donated prizes and bought chances for our Chinese auction, 50/ 50 drawing and raffle. The weekend raised $16,681 for your Scholarship Foundation. Thank you very much. Special thanks to Carol Truesdell, Diane Torma, Ronda Grotefend, Richard Toth, John Toth and Endre Csornán. Without your help it would have been a lot more work. Thank you. Now, we can all think "golf tour­nament." If you plan on attending, please bring your Chinese auction prize with you, or contact Ronda or me. Welcome back to America, Gary and Jennifer (Szatmári) Sullivan. They celebrated their first wedding anni­versary in Hungary. What a beautiful place to celebrate. It's something you will always remember. Get well wishes to Bela Imry, Frank Zito and all our wonderful members who are not feeling their best. Hope you all get well soon. Upcoming Holy Cross happenings include:- The Hungarian Festival at the Yack Center in Wyandotte, Mich., June 9 and 10;- St. Stephen King of Hungary celebration, Aug. 26, with Mass at 11:00 a.m. with dinner to follow;- The mézeskalács sale, Sept. 8 and 9; and- Templombucsu, Feast of our church, Sept. 16, with Mass at 11:00 a.m. and dinner to follow. Please mark your calendars and support these events. Without you, they will cease to be. Most importantly, Fathers Barnabas and Angelus have a wonderful trip to Hungary planned.
