Ivancso We hope everyone is having a Happy New Year! William Venn Life readers have not read about our branch in a longtime. You will be reading about us more in the future. We just had our largest Christmas party in recent memory. We are growing! Hope your branch is growing, too. Thirty-three children received gifts cards to stores of their parents' choosing, along with stuffed stockings provided by the Home Office. The children and their parents enjoyed as much bowling as they could in two hours along with pizza and pop. The stockings were a great idea from the Home Office. The looks on the faces of the children were priceless when they received their stockings! Special thanks to all of the officers and members of Branch 27 who helped in organizing the Christmas party and making it the success it was. Please contact me for pictures from the Christmas party. We want to make it bigger and better next year. We will be going back to The Timbers again next year. Your Branch Officers for the next year are: Bob Ivancso, president; Paula Bodnar, vice president; Rich Homyak Jr., treasurer; Linda York, secretary; and S.J. Ivancso, Maggie Butler and Joe Butler, auditors. We welcome to our fraternal family Ryleigh Bodnar, our newest member who attended her first Christmas partyonDec.il. A reminder to our readers that the 62nd Annual William Penn Association Bowling Tournament will be held in Detroit on Memorial Day weekend.
