Branch News Branch 13 Trenton, NJ by Elsie H. Radvany We wish to extend our most sincere congratulations to Endre Csornán, membership activities manager, the staff and all the volunteer members of his committee for the most successful fraternal picnic of the year. We were blessed with sunshine, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. There were about 900 people in attendance, and the picnic raised more than $8,000 for the WPA scholarship foundation. Fall has arrived, and we are preparing to give a Holiday Basket to the City of Trenton Rescue Mission. It is so rewarding to partake in this fraternal activity, knowing you will be making someone enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. We take so much for granted in our everyday lives, not knowing how many people are hungry. Fratemalism, as defined in the dictionary, is brotherliness, and the WPA certainly exemplifies this by the many fraternal activities it sponsors. Branch 13 will host its annual meeting and family Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hungarian Reformed Church auditorium, located at Grand and Beatty Streets, Trenton, N.J. We cordially invite everyone to attend. For servicing your life insurance and annuity needs, please contact Elsie H. Radvany, 2006 Yardley Road, Morrisville, PA 19067. Or, call 215- 295-2222. Branch 14 Cleveland, OH by Dawn D. Ward It's been a beautiful autumn in northern Ohio, and, as the leaves fall, our thoughts turn to the upcoming holiday season. Branch 14 is proud to host one of the largest children's Christmas parties with more than 100 William Penn juvenile members. The officers and members of Branch 14 decided to change the format of the Christmas party to an open house. Children and their families are welcome to come anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. to enjoy a delicious luncheon buffet and be greeted by Santa Claus upon arrival. Juvenile members will receive invitations, and adult members are also welcome to attend. There will be a $5 charge for non-members. Mark your calendars for Sunday, Dec. 12. Branch 14 is proud to welcome the following new members: Julianna Robles, Angeline Stef anini, Mario Stefanini, Kayla Hayes, Ryan Romankowski, Ava Kafiti, Victoria Olivares and Goldie Balogh. The WPA's wonderful life insurance and annuity products, along with their fraternal activities, have contributed to the tremendous growth of Branch 14. We all have suffered some misfortune this past year: illness, the death of a loved one, or maybe even a flood or hurricane. With God's help, we made it through another year. God only gives us what He knows we can handle. As we gather this Thanksgiving, remember to thank Him for all we have. I give thanks everyday for our wonderful members. I have made a lot of friends that helped me through All articles and photographs for the December issue of the William Penn Life are due in our office by Nov. 10. 16 Williu Pen Life, November 2004
