Mark your calendars for the Branch 14 children's Christmas party which will be held Sunday, Nov. 30. On a personal note, Jeff and I were in Las Vegas in June for the annual Million Dollar Round Table conference. This international gathering of financial service professionals provided innovative ideas with its impressive motivational speakers and world renowned insurance agents. This wonderful experience reinforced our commitment to the William Penn Association by increasing our product knowledge and strengthening our dedication to our members. Branch 14 welcomes the following new members: Mary Kovach, Karyn Wargo, Kristin Wargo, Amanda Wargo, Tess Wright, Marra Wright, Connor Sobey, and Carson Sobey. Please contact Jeff Ward at 440-838- 1200 with the names of any potential new members and get rewarded with a WPA finder's fee! The next branch meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Hungarian Reformed Church, Bethlen Hall, 14530 Alexander Road, Walton Hills, Ohio. All branch members are welcome to attend to help plan future activities. Branch 18 Lincoln Park, MI by Barbara A. House Many thanks to the wonderful crew that made Join Hands Day a real success. As usual, it was a lot of hard work but truly very enjoyable. Thank you to Rocky and Emma Borsa, John and Rosalie Pasko and Genevieve and Charles Molnár for their donations. Thank you also to Emilia Blair, Eileen Gonzales, Bob and Elsie Kantor, Carol and Doug Truesdell, Amy Polakowski, Helen Molnár, Rose P. Antal, Kay Momtsios and Tom House. Without your hard work it couldn't be done. Our trip to Mackinac was a huge success. I truly believe it was the best one ever. We covered a lot of ground, but it sure was fun. Mackinac Island, the barbecue on the beach and lunch in Frankenmuth were hands-down favorites. Wait till we tell you what we have planned for next year. Get well wishes to some very special people: Bill Papp, Ernie Mozer, Bob Kapinus, Helen Breznai, Diane Mach, Olga Wansa, Deac Sabo, Mary Duzy, Helen Nagy, Rosalie Pasko and Tom House. Hope you all are better real soon. Happy 17th wedding anniversary to Irene and Rudy Korpák. Can you believe it? Congratulations. We love you. Thanks to meat loaf queen Eileen Gonzales. Tommy said this one is the bestever. Thanks, George and Jolán Bolash, for being so thoughtful. Thank you, Judy W. and Lou Deregi, for the faith you have in the WPA. We will take very good care of you. Beautiful article, Endre Csornán. It takes a lot of work to mention all those names and not forget any. Everything you do is done well. Many thanks. Branch 18's officers and committees are busy working to ensure a great fourth annual picnic for all our members on Aug. 3. Sure hope you plan on joining us. We also have a bus for those interested in going to the WPA annual picnic and fraternal fest on Sept. 13. The bus will depart from the American Hungarian Reformed Church on Friday, Sept. 12 at 8:00 a.m. We have a very unusual surprise stop along the way. (No, it's not a casino.)
