I would love to be of service. Happy Halloween! Branch 28 Youngstown, OH by Kathy Novak So hard to believe the summer has come to a close and schools are back in session. When our branch returned from the WPA picnic in September, several out-of-towners joined us. They came to Youngstown to visit family, enjoy the hospitality of the WPA and attend the Youngstown American Hungarian Club's Heritage Day on Sept. 15. It was so nice to see Walter and Margaret Bugielski of the Pittsburgh area at the annual Hungarian Day event. We hope they enjoyed their day with us in Youngstown. Congratulations to Sándor Tollas Jr. who shot his first hole-in-one at the golf course at Rocky Fork in Hillsboro, Ohio. Sonny used his 7-iron on the 8th hole on July 13 to make the spectacular shot. We also congratulate several WPA members who received honors of recognition from St. Stephen of Hungary Church: Mary Rose Purton, Robert Palotsee, Paula Horvath and Bill Skeebo. Special thanks to Deb Breznai for arranging her family reunion, allowing members to gather here from as far away as Alabama. Get well wishes to all those under the weather, especially Joan Mauerman. Remember: the Christmas raffle tickets are available. If you would like some, give us a call. A reminder also to call Steve Novak at 330-746-7704 for information and reservations for our October branch meeting. Congratulations to all the special people celebrating birthdays or anniversaries this month, especially Mark Peyko on 10 years of publishing the Metro Monthly. Our sincere condolences to all families who have recently lost a loved one. For any life insurance or annuity needs or questions about our branch, please contact Alan Szabó at 330-482- 9994, or Kathy Novak at 330-746- 7704.
