Branch News Branch 14 Cleveland, OH by Dawn D. Ward As summer comes to an end, Branch 14 members are looking forward to going on a bus trip to the WPA picnic at Penn Scenic View. Thank you to branch 14 member Violet Sarosi for handling the arrangements for the trip. Branch 14 is very proud of two of their members who are scholarship recipients. Jonathan Adams, greatgrandson of Rose Kaul, past president and former auditor of Branch 14, is a freshman at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. Jonathan is the 16th member of his family to attend BW. He has volunteered as a youth basketball coach and he plans to pursue a career in education and coaching. Paula Rosenberg is a sophomore at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich., majoring in theater and English. Paula is the daughter of Marie Rosenberg and the late Art Rosenberg, and granddaughter of the late Agnes Boda. Paula received the honor of being named "Ambassador of Aquinas College." This entails giving tours of the college, serving as student representative at official college events, and helping with fund raising. She is a member of several volunteer organizations, and as a member of Casa Hogar, she is helping to raise funds to build an orphanage in Central America. Congratulations and best wishes to these two fine young people. Please contact Dawn Ward at (440) 838-1200 with any information regarding Branch 14 students. Branch 14 continues to grow in membership. Welcome to new members: Alicia Beaton, Alexis Deveny, Scott Deveny, Jr., Samantha Deveny, Ryan Kandzer, Joseph Sakach, Brandon Yankovich, Leah Yankovich, Cullen Zond, Helen Barnes, Virginia Naso and Lottie Vargo.
