Branch 14 Cleveland, OH by Dawn D. Ward Branch 14 is sponsoring a bus trip to the Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort in West Virginia, Wednesday, July 24. The bus will depart from the First Hungarian Reformed Church in Walton Hills early morning and return that evening. The branch will also sponsor a bus trip to the second annual WPA fraternal picnic at Penn Scenic View on Saturday, Sept. 14. For reservations and more information contact Violet Sarosi at 440-248-9012. Twenty-four Branch 14 members enjoyed "Champions on Ice" at the Gund Arena May 19. It was a thrill to see famous skaters such as current Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hughes, and the ever-popular Michelle Kwan perform. The branch is planning to sponsor another outing for the Champions on Ice 25th anniversary tour Friday, April 18, 2003. Branch 14 Auditor Irene Evans passed away last month, and her fellow branch members are greatly saddened by the loss. Irene was an active, long-time member of the WPA. She is survived by a wonderful family, all of whom are members. We will miss her pleasant demeanor and perpetual smile. Branch 14 is pleased to announce the addition of 23 new members this year. They are John Almady, Sue Almady, Jordan Almady, Carter Almady, Jim Bourquin, Elenore Bourquin, Sarah Cox, Aaron Geczy, Matthew Geczy, Peter Geczy, Steven Geczy, Carol Horvath, Matthew Horvath, Paula Horvath, Judy Kovacik, Frank Ladany III, Shoshannah Ladany, Tara Ladany, Elizabeth Molnár, Nancy Orosz, Diane Romankowski, Matthew Souza and Julius Vanyur. We welcome these new members and encourage them to attend the branch meetings and numerous fraternal activities. With WPA's outstanding annuity and life products, we predict tremendous growth of our branch, and WPA representative Jeff Ward is Kapinus, Gerry Davenport, Joe Baranyi, Frank Radvany, Debbie Evans, Ed Mayoros, Ethel Molnár. Margaret New, Ann Sorke, Leslie Vizi and John Yuhasz. May you all have many more. Happy anniversary to my mom Irene Korpák and her husband Rudy. Wow! Time really does fly. Happy anniversary also to Donna and Steve Varga. May God bless you all with many more happy years together. Welcome home, A1 and Olga Wansa and Ann and Bill Sorke. You were missed. .
