All life insurance plans pay out a cash settlement to the surviving beneficiaries which they, in turn, can use to meet funeral or mortgage expenses or to replace any lost income. In this way, a life insurance plan from the William Penn is the same as plans offered by all life insurance companies. What makes a William Penn plan different — and more valuable to you — is that it is a fraternal life insurance plan. That means our plans offer your family fraternal benefits you can’t get from other insurance companies. We call it the Fraternal Bonus Program. Under our Fraternal Bonus Program, adult life benefit members (i.e., adult life insurance policy owners) can qualify for additional benefits for their children, including our Orphan Fraternal Benefits and Newborn Fraternal Benefits, at no extra cost. Orphan Fraternal Benefits Children of a William Penn life benefit member can qualify for orphan benefits should both of their parents die.
