HOME OFFICE NEWS Congratulations to Mary (Muncie) Allen, who retired on July 31 after 33 years of service with the Association. Muncie worked in several depart­ments in the Home Office, most recently in Treasury and Sick Benefit and A&H Claims. Muncie's husband Herbert (Bud) also retired recently. They have one son, Bob, who is employed by Rockwell International and was mar­ried last August. He and his wife Kay reside in Penn Hills. A delicious luncheon was held in her honor on Wednesday, July 1 8 at the Allegheny Club in Three Rivers Stadium. All the employees and local Officers who attended the function had a great time. Muncie and Bud plan to travel and when home, Muncie enjoys reading, writing poetry and swimming. She is also hoping to take a few art courses. We consider it an honor to be friends of Muncie. May both she and her husband have good health to en­joy their retirement days ahead. Robert worked 9 years as a machinist for the Milton Roy Com­pany of Michigan City, Indiana before entering his career in in­surance. He began his career with the Metropolitan Insurance Company in March of 1 983. Metropolitan awarded Robert Honors with Gold and Blue Ribbons for outstanding performance in Career Success School, the Agency Builder Award and was the winner of Sales Person on the Month three times. In 1983 he placed second in Total Sales and Commission in the Michigan City Of­fice. Robert started with the William Penn Association in April 1984 and works as an Agent for Andy Eperjesi. Since that time Robert has sold 40 policies for a total volume of $716,980 in less than three months. Robert lives at 8033 North 600 West, Michigan City, Indiana 46360, with his lovely wife for 17 years, Virgie, and their only daughter, Kristina Louise. Robert Raby Sales Representative ROBERT RABY Robert was born December 26, 1 948 in Harlan, Kentucky. Attended Lone Jack High School in Pineville, Kentucky. Entered U.S. Army in June 1968, served in Vietnam from December 1968 to January 1970. There he was awarded with the Bronze Star Medal, also the Distinguished Silver Cross for Bravery beyond the call of Duty. Andy was born in Hungary and came to the U.S.A. after the Hungarian Revolu­tion in 1956. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and was Honorably Discharged in 1962. Andy started in the insurance business with a large holding and in­surance company. First as a sales representative and was later pro­moted to district sales manager. He has won every sales and service award conceivable. Andy is an ac­complished estate planner and finan­cial counselor. He brings to William Penn Association a wealth of profes­sional insurance experience. Andy knows the business and knows how to effectively service the members. Andy resides in South Bend, In­diana with his lovely wife, Magda.
