We wish to welcome our two new Auditors for Branch 18, namely Frank Lezak and John Ulics. Congratulations gentlemen! Vacations are still the “in thing” with Branch 18 members. Julia and Steve Danko just returned from sunny Florida, where they both enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Dorothy Csanyi, our Secretary and her parents went for a two week vacation to Florida. Helen Danko and son John, decided to take a Caribbean cruise. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Macker also are back from their Florida vacation. It is real nice to have you back Mr. Macker for you were really missed at the club. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Compton, members of our Branch and Social Club have made their permanent home in Coral Gables. We wish them much happiness and everyone here, Chuck, wishes you a speedy recovery so you may enjoy the beautiful Florida sun­shine. Hope all of you people have a most enjoyable vacation, which I am sure you all did and will. We sincerely wish Andy Toth our heartfelt congratulations on his retire­ment from Rockwell International after forty-four years of service. Andy, what can we say, except enjoy all your free moments in the pleasurable things in life, and may you enjoy them in good health and spirits. Again, con­gratulations. Please note the date, November the first. Our Vice President, Helen Schenkel, is convalescing at home, after being confined in the hospital for an extend­ed period. Pete and Betty Wlosak are also recuperating from their illness. We are asking our members to visit them, or drop them a line. It will make their day a much better one. We wish to extend our sympathy to the family of Frank J. Geisz, a young man, who in the prime of his life, died in an automobile accident. Those receiving pins were: Janos Danyi, Margaret Bauer, Kelly Horvath, Julia Kraska, Mrs. Joseph Konti, Andrew Vadas, Mrs. Paul Sipos, Ida Szaniszlo, Mrs. Nicholar Palkovacs, Frank Wolfinger, Mrs. Frank Sedlak, Mrs. Helen Dolgos, Mary Printz, John Szász, Mrs. John Szász. To you we extend our con­gratulations! We wish you many more years in good health. The second part of the evening’s festivities was the awarding of trophies to the winners of the William Penn Branch 249 Bowling League. Con­gratulations to the winners and thanks to all the bowlers. We take this opportunity to thank the following ladies who prepared the delicious meal for the occasion.
