THIRD ANNUAL TOUR TO HUNGARY From The Desk Of: Vice President-Marketing The William Penn Association strives constantly to update its existing products as well as bring new products in response to its members needs. The inflation has decreased your insurance coverage and for that reason we are offering our members a simple method of increasing their insurance. How would you like to take a $1,500 Federal Income Tax Deduction and provide for your retirement at the same time ? The William Penn Association can provide you with Retirement Income guaranteed for life no matter how long you live. If you are self-employed or your employer does not provide you with a pension — or if you are a part-time employee, or if you are not covered by a tax-favored pension plan other than Social Security you may be eligible for a tax-deductible retirement program; 15% of your earned income — up to $1,500 will be deductible from your gross income for Federal Income Tax purposes if used to purchase an individual retirement annuity (IRA). We have a good plan just for you! Or if you would like to increase your retirement income, we could also help you. Please write to Vice President-Marketing, 429 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219 at the Home Office for more information. DONATIONS . . . (Continued from Page Six) MRS. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hrabar 10.00 Our first two chartered flights to Hungary have proven to be successful. The Board of Directors has again authorized a charter flight to Hungary in 1978. On the basis of past two year’s experience it has been decided to conduct the flight for a three week period, however, in order to provide for our many school teachers and student members, the flight will be chartered for an earlier date so that everyone can be back in the United States prior to beginning of the school year. Many who participated in the first and second flights have indicated they will be on the third flight. For this reason it is suggested that those of our members who wish to go, should complete the coupon below and mail it to the Home Office so that space can be reserved. Once again there will only be 180 seats available and the Association will assign these on a first come, first served basis. In order to be eligible to participate in the flight, at least one in the family NOTICE As we went to press, we were informed that the Board of Directors of the American Hungarian Foundation named National President Elmer Charles as the recipient of the distinguished Von Karman Award of the Foundation. The award will be presented at the Foundation’s Award Dinner on November 30, 1977 in New York City. WE CONGRATULATE OUR NATIONAL PRESIDENT! must be a William Penn Association beneficial member, that is, have a policy of insurance, all others must become social members. As in the past, the Association will arrange with the Magyarok Vilagszovetsege to arrange two one week landtours in Hungary for the convenience of our touring members. Due to the fact that there are millions of tourists visiting Hungary each year, available hotels, motels and restaurants must be reserved months in advance. Based on our previous experience the Association will have to set an earlier deadline for final reservations for both the charter flight and the land tour. Members should be fully aware that these are not package tours, i.e., the Association only contracts for air passage from Pittsburgh to Budapest and return. Members must arrange for their own individual three weeks stay in Hungary. The Association will assist in making reservations and collecting for the one week land-tour in Hungary, we will reserve rental cars as ordered and will make hotel reservations as needed, provided these requests are made and paid for by the designated time. As soon as dates and details have been established, those sending in coupons will be mailed all necessary information. Also, the January 1978 issue of William Penn Life will carry further details. Presently we are interested in knowing approximately how many persons are interested in participating in Tour No. 3 to Hungary in 1978, thus the need for filling out and mailing in the coupon.
