Tájékoztatáspolitika A felsorolt célok megvalósításához a vízgazdálkodás területén érintett az állami, önkormányzati és társadalmi szervezetek, valamint a lakosság összehangolt tevékenységére van szükség. A társadalmi munkamegosztás minden szintjén tudatosítani kell, hogy a vízgazdálkodás hosszú távú, idő- és költségigényes beavatkozásokkal tudja csak biztosítani az élethez szükséges alapvető feltételt, a vizet. Ez a vízügy tájékoztatás-politikájának legfontosabb feladata. * * * Timely tasks of water management by Dr. Béla HAJÓS and Józsefné POROSZLAY Civil Engineers Water management strategies are always governed or forced by the needs of the society and the economy. This activity is always characterised by consciousness and the strategies are implemented on the long term for meeting public interests or at least for that of the interests of the majority of the society. Point a) of Article 1 of the Law LVI1. of 1995 on Water Management specifies that the Government shall develop and approve the concept of the water management of Hungary. This concept shall set the basic principles of water management policy, taking into consideration the requirements of stabilising the economy and those of the integration with the respective policies of the European Union. This should also investigate the conditions and present state of water management, along with the objectives and tasks of the future integrated development of water management, with due concern to the means of implementing the respective tasks. The concept forms the basis of the development of the professional strategies of the water sector, such as those of protecting the drinking water resources of the priority areas of water quality protection (Figure 2.) or the maintenance and development of the state owned works of flood defence (Figure 3. ) The concept is being developed for the time horizon of 2015, with the basic assumption that by that time the achievement of the water management objectives of the European Union will be compulsory for each member and accession state. The study sketches the most important element and basic principles of the concept, the objectives of water management. It specifies the given conditions of the country ( Table Г) and the tasks, which will have to be performed for achieving the objectives. In this work the most important task will be the adoption and realisation of the requirements of Hungary's accession process to the European Union. * * * Aktuelle Aufgaben der Wasserwirtschaft von Dr.-Ing. Béla HAJÓS und Dipl.-Ing.Frau J. POROSZLAI Die wasserwirtschaftlichen Maßnahmen werden immer durch die ansprüche der Gesellschaft und die wirtschaftlichen Notwendigkeiten gesteuert bzw. erzwungen. Es handelt sich immer um eine mit vollem Bewußtsein durchgeführte Tätigkeit, deren langfristige Maßnahmen dem Gesamtinteresse oder zumindest dem Majoritätsinteresse gerecht werden.
