Dózsa György út, district XIII Opened in 1971, the Hotel Volga is a remarkable architectural achievement, mainly on account of the structural design which was made possible by the high-quality utilization of prescribed prefabricated elements. The hotel was designed by József Finta. The eight-storey tower containing 308 rooms rests on a two-storey reception area made of crude, monolithic, reinforced-con- crete.
