133 regards to those whom I have personally known. Be not weary in well-doing; for in due-season you shall reap, if you faint not. Ever yours affectionately Janus Drummond. The Rev. Lloyd J o ne s, being led by a sympathy to our nation, came as the representative of the Welsh Unitarians. The South Wales Unitarian Association sends her greeting to the Conference: Llandrindod Weis South-Wales , Aug. 19. 1896. Dear Sir I beg to inform you that the Rev. I. Lloyd Jones of Liverpool, one of our fellow-countrymen is accredited to represent the S^uth-Wales'Unitarian Association at the coming International Conference at Budh-Pesth, <and to-convey our heartiest greetings as Welsh Unitarians to our Hungarian brethren on that auspicious occasion. We are all interested in your Church history, in the brave stand your fore-fathers have taken in hehalf of religious liberty, in your record of many achievements in the past, aDd in your promising outlook for the future. Personally I have a special interest in your community as I was brought of one time into close relations with one of your students at Manchester New College then in London. I refer to Mr. Uzoni whose fellow sudent I vas trom 1866 to 1868. By daily intescounre I was led to admire his high character, and his thorough devotion to the work he had undertaken. I was very sorry to hear afterwawds of his lamented death soon after his return home and the sad circumstanes accompanying it. No doubt your church experienced a great loss in his removal as he had in him the promise of a career of usefulness. Since then a succession of young, men, youself among them, have passed through M. N. C. strengthening the ties already formed and establishing a brotherhood of kindred souls in spite of all geographical limitations. May this conference make the sense of fellowship still closer and more enduring and help us all to consecrate ourselves more thoroughly to the service of God and men very truly yours W. James B. A.
