125 going out into life, have in no small degree raised the authority of our Churches by their literary and official works. Most of our bishops, professors and ministers have always been engaged in some kind ef religious literary work. ..The Christian Seedsower“ — a hi-monthly magazine — edited ever since U_86j) and the „Unitarian Magazine“ edited by the Francis Dávid association now for nine years, have always followed the movements of our Church life and so have kept awake religious feeling and have by their articles spread culture and morality among the people. It is not of small importance for us to have the works of dr. W. E. Channing, the famous American preacher and philosopher, translated into Hungarian, and edited in six volumes by the aid of our American brethren. In order to spread the ideas of American and En • glish religious writers, we have a paper, called: „Unitarian little library“, which appears in pamphlets. I need hardly mention here the names of all of our different writers, who by their larger or smaller works, have enriched Hungarian literature ; suffice it to say that our people have endeavoured in this respect also to answer to their duties. I mean to fulfil a pleasant duty on this occasion, in speaking a few words of our relations to English and American Unitarians.
