Sctíbítp íltgíjlísbtő UPCOMING ATTRACTIONS During the months of July and August the following programs are going to be held, along with the regularly scheduled programs. Residents and families will be able to review the weekly events posted on the bulletin board located near each Nursing Station and the Activity Room. Schedules in the newsletter are subject to change, due to scheduling of programs being done several months in advance. For your convenience, a monthly calendar and a monthly in-house newsletter are posted in each resident's room. Families are welcome to attend our activities. Additional calendars are available through the Activity Department. JULY HIGHLIGHTS Tuesday, 3rd: Entertainment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Wednesday, 4th: Happy Fourth of July!! Celebrate America's Birthday today at 2:00 p.m. in the Solarium. Sunday, 8th to 14th: Let's travel week. Join us for a variety of activities throughout the week that will take us to some of our favorite vacation spots. Watch for details! Monday, 23rd: What better way to enjoy a hot summer, then to have an ice cream cone on the day the ice cream cone was invented! Join us for the 31 Flavors Game and ice cream at 2:00 p.m. in the Solarium. Tuesday, 24th: Cookout at 12:00 Noon, weather permitting. Thursday, 26th: Outing scheduled; Watch for details. Thursday, 12th: What better way to celebrate National Hot Dog Day then to have a cookout. The cookout will be held at 12:00 Noon on the first floor patio, weather permitting. Saturday, 14th: There will be entertainment at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Sunday, 15th: The Hungarian Picnic will be held starting at 1:00 p.m., rain or shine, at The Bethlen Home picnic grove. Residents and their families are welcome to attend. See separate article for details. Saturday, 28th: July's Birthday Party will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. All are welcome to attend. AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS Sunday, 5th-11th: Join us for some summer fun as we celebrate Circus Week; Watch for details. Thursday, 9th: Outing scheduled; Watch for details. In honor of National Ice Cream Day, root beer floats will be served room to room starting at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, 17th: Cow appreciation day! Join us for a game of "What's the Scoop!" in the afternoon, followed by a purple cow! Wednesday, 18th: Join us for a mixture of barnyard games, such as Pitch The Hay, starting at 2:00 p.m.; Watch for details. Thursday, 19th: A Corn Roast will be held at 12:00 Noon on the first gloor patio. Saturday, 21 st: The summer petting zoo will be held on the first floor patio at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 16th: Cookout scheduled at 12:00 Noon, weather permitting. Saturday, 18th: Join us for a 40's and 50's Celebration of Music with entertainment at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Saturday, 25th: Petting zoo will be held at 2:00 p.m. on the first floor patio. Tuesday, 28th: Join us for an evening of country line dancing at 7:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Thursday, 30th: Outing scheduled; Watch for details.
