School has started, and we will be expecting those hot days of Indian Summer. During the Summer months, the Activity Department tries to hold several cookouts a month, so that the residents who are unable to leave the facility will have a chance to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. One of the most favored outings is yet to come. A group of twenty residents and volunteers will be heading out to the Gateway Clipper. Pictured are residents enjoying one of the many cookouts held by the Activity Department on the first floor patio. Pictured: Helen Vargo and Edie Woods An overall look of many residents enjoying their lunch. More ribs? We could go for another round!
