JVcttïntîJ DID YOU KNOW???? FAMILY SUPPORT MEETINGS MOVED TO AFTERNOONS The next family support meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 10th from 2 p.m. to3 p.m. in the Dining Room. This month’s topic will be“STROKE PREVENTION”. A film will be shown along with speaker Anne Boyle, who is a Registered Nurse and works at Harmarville Rehab. Center. May’s support meeting will be held on Wednesday, May5th, 1993at2 p.m. Thetopic will be”MEDICARE COVERAGE”. Michelle Demagone will be representing the Latrobe Area Hospital. The decision on moving the meetings to afternoon was decided due to poor attendance by family members. Those who showed interest were unable to make it in the evenings due to not driving after dark, weather, etc. The month of MARCH is known for: • National Red Cross Month • Nutritional Month • Peanut Month • Poison Prevention Month • Professional Social Worker’s Month • Women’s History Month • Hungarian Revolution Day • St. Patrick’s Day • Diabetes Awareness Day • Bethlen Home Spring Craft Show! The month of MAY is known for: Older Americans’ Month National Nurse’s Day National Nursing Home Week Mother’s Day BBQ Month Memorial Day Foot Health Month WANTED . . . NEWS ANNOUNCER! The Activity Department is looking for a resident who would be interested in trying outforthe morning news and announcements for the day here at the Bethlen Home over the public address system. The resident would be expected to go down to the first floor office every morning around 10 a.m. to make the announcements for the day. Information will be provided for you. You will also be expected to announcetheactivitiesforthe day, along with famous people's birthdays, in house birthdays among residents and staff, also some trivia news on what happened fifty years ago on that day. Any resident who is interested in trying out for the job, please see Sherry in the Activity Department. I know we have a few people who would like to try!!! Welcome!!
