O It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again when we start to prepare for our annual Fall Bazaar Fundraiser for the Activity Department. The residents have been busy sewing, painting, and working on various crafts for the bazaar. The volunteers have also been working since Spring. This year, the Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days. Proceeds will benefit the Residents’ Activity Fund. Last year, through your support, we were able to raise over $7,000.00 for the Activity Fund. These funds have to last all year. This past year, a large amount of the funds were used towards entertainment, parties, craft supplies, Christmas presents for each resident, decorations, ceramics, etc., to name a few. As you know, the cost of things keeps going up, and it doesn’t take long for funds to get depleted. This is where your help is needed. We are looking for donations of crafts, baked goods, canned goods, flea market items, plants, etc., that can be used for sale at our bazaar. Cash donations are very much welcomed, also. If you have any questions, please contact Sherry Humbertson at 238-6711, Monday through Friday. We will be looking forward to your support and visit to our craft show.
