KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS 1992

When the month of February rolls around, you naturally think of Valentine’s Day.

Each year here at the Bethlen Home, the Activity Department sponsors a King and Queen of Hearts contest among the residents.

This year we have several sweetheart couples who were nominated for the event.

Congratulations to the following residents who were nominated for the contest:

Couple number one: Mattie Noel and John Klosnick

Couple number two: Cloe Graham and Julius Gero

Couple number three: Edie Woods and Jonathan Hinkle

Residents and volunteers, along with staff and families, were able to vote for their favorite couple.

A special “Sweethearts Dinner” was held in hohor of the nominees on the eve of Valentine’s Day to kick off the event.

A special Valentine’s Party for the crowning, along with special entertainment, was held in the afternoon on Valentine’s Day.

This year’s winners were couple number one, Mattie Noel and John Klosnick. Special prizes were given to the winners and the runner-ups.
