Fraternity-Testvériség, 2007 (85. évfolyam, 1-3. szám)

2007-07-01 / 3. szám

I -r\ The most educational part of the meeting was for the participants to listen to each other’s reports and find out about all the activities the branches in the different areas were doing in the previous one-year period. Beside the Area Fraternal Coordinators, we had some members of the board and other guests present as well. This way for example, from Kati Nagy (Assistant to the President) we could get a verbal report of many of the activities that the Home Office and Branch 300 were involved in or organized. Also, Mrs. Margaret Pauli, who was present by invitation from the Fraternal Committee, gave us an overview of a project called Warm-Up America that the Fraternal Committee decided to embrace and turn into one of HRFA’s main nationwide projects. Details can be found on our website under the “Fraternal” tab in “Project Descriptions”. All branches are encouraged to participate! A more detailed write-up on this project will be published in the next issue of the Fraternity Magazine. At the National Fraternal Coordinator’s initiative, the Fraternal Committee members decided to move forward with recruitment of social members. Please check out www.fraternal.hrfa.org on a regular basis for the latest news and updates. As to the recognition awards and programs, the National Fraternal Director asked for nominations from the Area Coordinators for the NFCA’s Fratemalist-In-Action program as well as for Fratemalist of the Year of HRFA. We would like to extend this request for nominations to the branch managers and members as well: if you know about a member of HRFA whom you would like to nominate for either of these recognitions, please check out our website for the program description (criteria and nomination form) or contact the National Fraternal Coordinator directly at fratemal@hrfa.org or by phone at (941) 321-3405. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Page 6 Fraternity - Testvériség - Fall 2007
