Then László Pásztor presented President Balogh with a Proclamation honoring those who have done a lot for Hungarians and for the '56 Freedom Fighters.

On behalf of the ‘56 Freedom Fighters, Director Fabri thanked the USA, and every Hungarian Church and organization for the home, jobs and support they provided in that time of need.

Frank Kapitan spoke about the meaning of ‘56, of the spirit that came forth on those days that united a nation to fight against the communist and wished that Hungary would get the spirit again to get through this period.
