Spring Board of Directors Meeting—HRFA Elects New Chairman

John Morey, previously Vice Chair, was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors. President Balogh, the staff, and all the Directors of HRFA congratulate him and wish him great success in his new position.

HRFA thanks outgoing Acting Chair Priscilla Hunyady for her outstanding work. Ms. Hunyady decided not to run for Chair, but was elected a Vice Chair. Congratulations also to László Hamos who was elected to a Vice Chair position.

On May 2, 2007 Janos Horvath visits the HRFA Kossuth House

A small group representing HRFA and the American Hungarian Federation met with Dr. Janos Horvath, a Senior Member of the Hungarian Parliament since 1998. He also served from 1945 to 1947 when he was imprisoned by the then Soviet Communist government. Dr. Horvath talked about his recently published book „Tiltott Történelmünk 1945-1947” (Our Banned History 1945-1947) and about the current political, economic and moral crisis in Hungary.
