Delegate Helen Szabó moved and Director Morey seconded the motion to close the nominations. Carried Delegate Ed Szabó moved and Delegate Virgulák seconded the motion to cast the ballots in secret. From the floor William Nicholas was nominated by Delegate Ed Szabó, seconded by Director Torok. Nicholas declined. Director Szucs moved and Director Nagy seconded the motion to close the nomination. Candidate Elizabeth Schmidt stated her intention to be an alternate. Director Torok moved and Director Szucs seconded the motion to declare Richard Aros and John K. Morey as elected and Elizabeth Schmidt as alternate, since there is no contest to the selection. Unani­mously approved. 4. Northern District (Michigan and Toledo) 1 director to be elected. Nominated by the Committee: Tibor Nagy and Helen Szabó There were no nominations from the floor. Director Szucs moved and Director Fabri seconded the motion to close the nominations. Carried. Candidate Helen Szabó stated her intention to be an alternate. Director Szucs moved and Delegate Ed Szabó sec­onded the motion to declare Tibor Nagy elected and Helen Szabó as alternate since there is no contest to the selection. Unanimously approved. 5. Central District (Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia) 2 directors to be elected. Nominated by the Committee: Joseph Fabri, Clara Csikesz, Olga Darnay, and Alexander Jalso. There were no nominations from the floor. Delegate Ed Szabó moved and Delegate Roberta Aros sec­onded the motion to close the nominations. Carried. 56 ballots were collected. Nominated by the Committee: Joseph Kovács and Katherine Mischak. Rev. Peter Toth was nominated from the floor by Delegate Balint Nagy and seconded by Delegate Drotos. Reverend Toth accepted the nomination. Answering a question, Legal Advisor Puskas, Jr. advised that Reverend Toth’s recent move from New Jersey to Chicago does not bar him from the nomi­nation from the Western District.
