At 3:15 P.M. the Convention recessed for a break. Presi­dent Dózsa reconvened the meeting at 3:30 P.M. President Dózsa thanked the delegates, fellow officers, Board members, and office staff for their cooperation and conscientious work. He specifically thanked the Conven­tion Committee that organized this Convention, their co­chairs Richard Aros and Rev. Imre A. Bertalan and their members Mrs. Aros, Mrs. Morey and Reverend and Mrs. Szucs. President Dózsa appreciated the fact that the majority of delegates understood the need for change; this is a time for unity; let us start a new chapter with new leadership and new vigor. He then called upon Rev. Barnabas Roczey to adminis­ter the oath to the new Board of Directors. The newly elected Board members took their oath of office. Rev. Imre Bertalan, Sr. offered a bilingual prayer, re­membering the past and asking for God’s blessing for the future. Director Csikesz moved to bestow the honorary title on retiring members of the Board: Treasurer Virgulák, Secre­tary Csornán, V.P. St. Miklosy, Saltzer and Szucs. The mo­tion was seconded by Director Morey. Unanimously ap­proved with those receiving the honor abstaining. With this the 36th Quadrennial Convention came to a close at 4:02 P.M.
