Any correspondence may be edited for clarity and length. ON OUR COVER: The Baptism of Vajk, by Gyula Benczúr (1844-1920). Vajk was the tribal name of St. Stephen, the first Christian King of Hungary. The coronation itself took place on Christmas Day of the year 1000 A.D. Historians consider this date as the formal inauguration of the Hungarian State, a Christian Kingdom of Europe for the ensuing 1000 years. FEDŐLAPUNKON: Vajk megkeresztelése. Benczúr Gyula festménye.
