FRATERNITY Page 15 BRANCH 134 - DUQUESNE, PENNSYLVANIA A meeting of the Greater Pittsburgh Pa. Branch 134 was held at the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne, Pennsylvania on November 16, 1998. An opening prayer was given by President Marian Nagy. The Secretary’s and the treasurer’s reports were presented at the meeting. In July, we took homemade noodles and crafts to sell at the picnic in Ligonier, and made a donation to the Bethlen Home. A donation was made to the Duquesne church, and to one of our branch members who lost all of her personal belongings in a recent fire. One of our branch members, Cammie Lynn Toth, was called home by God. The sympathy of the branch was extended to the family, and condolence cards were sent. The National Officers requested that our branches make up food baskets for some needy people. The Federation would supply the turkeys. Thanks to the generosity of the Federation, and some of the members of the Duquesne church who donated many perishable items, we were able to prepare three large baskets. Our branch also purchased items to supplement the baskets. Marian Nagy and Mrs. Damay were to deliver them. Our Christmas Party was held on December 5. Treat bags were prepared for the children. Games, refreshments and Christmas movies were enjoyed by all.
