A report was presented on the successful meeting for area representatives in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Future plans include, among others, a dinner to raise funds for the Student Aid and Loan Fund. Steven Mischak, Branch Secretary News from the Kossuth Club of Northwest Indiana Although the weather here makes it hard to believe that spring will ever come, plans are already underway for the annual Fraternal Day fundraising picnic on Sunday, July 12, 1998. It will be held on the picnic grounds of St. Elijah Orthodox Church, 84th and Taft Street, Crown Point, Indiana. Hungarian food and drinks will be served at reasonable prices, and the ladies of the Kossuth Club have promised that everything will be tasty. Ugyanakkor Zajos Frank és Rahill L. Michael tanulmányi segélyt kapott. Az osztály elhatározta, hogy autóbuszt indítanak a Magyar Szabadságharc 150-ik évfordulója alkalmával a New York-i Kossuth szoborhoz. Terveznek egy vacsorát is a tanulmányi segély alap részére.
