FRATERNITY Page 21 MICHAEL L. RAHILL Michael L. Rahill, member of Branch 93, Wharton, New Jersey, was recommended to us by Branch Manager Steve Vajda. With much of his time at the volunteer fire department and working for the family business (Turul Bookbindery), he does not have enough spare time to seek for other odd jobs to help finance his education. Therefore, the scholarship was of great help. Michael is currently attending Rutgers University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I am a senior at The Ohio State University and plan to graduate in December, 1997 at which time I plan to pursue a career in Finance. The financial assistance provided by the Federation was of great help since other than my parents’ help, I have received no financial assistance while in school. I have worked summers life guarding and painting houses and have also worked in food service during school. I am a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity through which I have provided philantropic service to Children’s Hospital and helped raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network, along with other community service for the benefit of needy children. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, golfing, swimming, weight lifting and raising a Jack Russell terrier. I am, of course, also an avid Buckeye fan and had the privilege of attending the 1997 Rose Bowl game.” Steven was recommended to us by Branch Manger Margaret Ayers. STEVEN V. SZÁSZ Jessica L.
