The Chairman declared that Louise Vespremi had been legally elected as director from the Michigan-Canada district. One director from the Midwest-Chicago district: Tibor Dolinszky and Julius Simon had been nominated, who accepted the nominations. Balloting followed after the nominations had been closed, with these results: Tibor Dolinszky 43, Julius Simon 27. The Chairman declared that Tibor Dolinszky was elected the director from the Midwest- Chicago district. f) Election of Alternates to the Members of the Board: New York and Connecticut by acclamation: Alexander Forro. New Jersey district election results: László Lipoczky 45, Stefan Torok 34, Barnabas Roczey 29, Gabor Nitsch 24. Alternates from New Jersey are László Lipoczky (I), Stefan Torok (II). Western Pennsylvania district first alternate Paul T. Kovács having received 40 votes, second alternate Denes Tamas (27). Ohio district results: Michael Pennington 30, Paul Kantor 22, Ilona Kernes 20, John Morey 19, Zoltán Szucs 14, Joseph Abel 13, Mary Bacho 11. First alternate is Michael Pennington, second alternate is Paul Kantor. Michigan-Canada district result: John Toth 35, Joseph Bakty 34. John Toth was elected alternate for the Michigan-Canada district. Midwest-Chicago district election result: Margaret Saltzer 28, Julius Simon 24, Joseph Kovács 15. Margaret Saltzer was elected alternate for the Midwest-Chicago district. The Chairman thanked the tellers for their labors and turned over the chairing of the Convention to the President. 58) The protest of Olga Darnay, a guest, was heard by the Convention. The legal advisor, however, ruled her protest out of order. 59) The Honorable Judge Alex Eger, Legal Advisor administered the official oath to the newly elected national officers and members of the board of directors. Mindenkor saját magát adta az ő népe szolgálatára. A keresztelésnél látomásokat látott a reménykedő szülőkkel, az es- ketésnél álmokat álmodott az örvendezőkkel a koporsónál leborult a sírókkal. Mélyen szántó elmélkedéseivel, áhitatos imáival, példás, áldozatkész tetteivel buzdította gyülekezete tagjait a bővölködő életre. Nagy Emil kezemun- kája, szíve szeretete gyülekezete nagyjait, kicsinyeit buzdította a krisztusi életre, Isten tiszteletére, a felebarát megbecsülésére és az egyház-építésre. Gyülekezetével megosztotta élete minden javát, legszebb esztendeit. Az ő vezetésével írta a Bridgeporti Első Egyház történetének leghatalmasabb és legszebb fejezetét, a majdnem kilencven éves történet legmagasztosabb második felét. Mindenható Istenünk! Halld meg gyászimánkat. Áldd meg a gyászoló gyülekezet nagyjait és kicsinyeit, vezetőit és vezetetteit. Fájó, de szerető szívvel kérjük a megérdemelt örökélet áldásait elhunyt lelkipásztorunkra, hogy emléke továbbra is a Te országod építő ereje legyen közöttünk... Krisztus nevében kérjük. Ámen. Rev.
