All the aforementioned delegates, advisory members and invited guests were presented, except Mrs. Jakcsi and Mr. Markotány, who were absent due to illness. 5. Since the number of these accredited delegates sufficed for a quorum THE PRESIDENT DECLARED THE CONVENTION AS OFFICIALLY CONSTITUTED. 6. The President appointed the following members of a special committee to investigate the cases of the two New Jersey mandates under petition: Dr. Béky, Dr. Szabó, Mr. Veszprémi, Mr. John Nagy (Bridgeport), Mrs. Árpád George, Mrs. Joseph Molnár (Pittsburgh), Mr. Dula (Cleveland), and the Secretary. The Committee was requested to bring in its recommendations as soon as possible. 7. The docket of the Convention as prepared by the Supreme Council and presented by the Secretary WAS ADOPTED BY THE CONVENTION. THE CONVENTION WAS ADVISED BY THE SECRETARY THAT COMMITTEE MEETINGS ON THEIR FIRST MEETING DAY WILL BE IN THE HOME OFFICE, SINCE ALL THE RECORDS ARE KEPT THERE, AND THEIR TRANSPORTATION WOULD BE INCONVENIENT. 8. Greetings to the Convention were extended by: the Rev. Francis Vitéz, President of the Hungarian Reformed Ministers’ Association in America; Mr. Zoltán Gombos, Editor-in-Chief of the two Hungarian daily newspapers; Mr. Imre Király, President of the Hungarian Reformed Presbyters’ Association.
