The Bridgeport office staff will be glad to collect membership dues from all members of the above mentioned branches and will be available to give all necessary help and information pertaining to our various types of life, sick benefit and hospitalization insurance plans. The address of our new Connecticut District Office is: The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, District Office 1039 State Street, Mosque Building, Bridgeport, Connecticut WE WELCOME OUR NEWLY APPOINTED FIELDMEN Three new fieldmen were appointed by the Secretary during the months of June and July. Filling the vacancy created by the Rev. Paul Ferenczy’s promotion to the position of Field Supervisor, the Rev. Leslie J. Carey became our new District Manager in the State of New Jersey and began his work in this capacity on June 1. During the first two months Mr. Carey not only fulfilled his required quota but showed an overprodudction. Such work, if continued, builds up a nice bonus for the following year. We would, of course, be happy to give bonuses to all our fieldmen. In the Western Territory the Secretary appointed Mr. Albert Bacho, a member and presbyter of our Toledo, Ohio, church as Section Manager to manage branches 21 and 292, and to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. W. Emery Percei, Jr. At this point, although Mr. Percei is taking, we hope, just a temporary leave from the work he has been doing for many years in the service of our Federation, we would like to wish him well in his new undertaking and new field of work. May we also express our deepest sympathy to him and his family on the recent death of his father who, after a long illness, was called to his reward by his Maker. The late Mr. Emery Percei was not only one of the oldest members and branch managers of our Federation, having served for many decades in that capacity, but was also a member of the Supreme Council. May he rest in peace. The third appointee is Mr. James Labash who, in the Western Territory, was appointed by the Secretary to manage two of our large branches, 62 and 374, in East Chicago and vicinity. Mr. (“Happy”) Labash is one of the oldest members, a trustee and consistory member of our East Chicago congregation. We know that his well-liked personality and popularity within a wide circle of friends and acquaintances will be a great asset in his work for us. As we officially introduce and welcome our new fieldmen, recommending them to their particular districts and sections, we also express to them our good wishes and we hope that our working together faithfully and conscientiously will bring forth mutual understanding and good fruits for both employees and employer!
