presenting to visitors the everyday experience lifestyle values and efforts of the people of Őrség. As a result of co-operation among the Hungarian National Municipality of Šalovci, Municipality of Salovci, Mozaik Association, Hungarian Municipality National Community of Mura Region, the Institute of Education of Hungarian Nationalities, Department of Ethnography and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Szeged and the Gallery and Museum of Lendva - we wish to present, in one of the side buildings, the local and popular foods, oil pressing and pálinka distillery, which all played an important role in the everyday life of the people of Őrség. It is not the intention to provide new scientific information in this little book. Its main purpose is to become a tourist and educational publication which can promote the renaissance of Őrség reach Domonkosfa and former Bükalja by stressing a few values.
