kórkép diagnosztizálását megnehezíti. Az interdiszciplináris teammunkában ezért jelenthet segítséget a szemorvos, aki a szemészeti eltérések súlyának, jelentőségének megítélésével hozzájárulhat a gyorsabb és eredményesebb munkához. Az esetek egy részében így korai terápiás beavatkozás válhat lehetővé, csökkentve a kezeletlen lupus magas szövődményrátáját.
