Zólyomi Z., Nagy hegyi Gy.: The verticillate cornea (an adverse reaction to prolonged aminodarone treatment)

On hand of corneal alterations—documented by photos—of some patients who had used Cordarone the action of the drug, the consequent signs on ECG, the interaction with other compounds, adverse reactions, indication field of the drug as well as the two other corneal thesaurismosis of differential diagnostic significance are summarized. The frequent occurence of the alteration and the importance of the use of an adequate slitlamp and high enlargement for examination are emphasized.

Z. Zólyomi und Gy. Nagyhegyi: Cornea verticillata (Nebenwirkung der Aminodaron-Dauerbehandlung )

Im Zusammenhang mit der Darstellung der photodokumentierten kornealen Veränderungen einiger Patienten, die eine Cordarone-Dauerbehandlung erhielten, werden aufgrund der Literaturdaten die Arzneiwirkung, die auf dem EKG registrierberen Zeichen der Wirkung, die Indikationen, die wichtigsten Arzneiwechselwirkungen und Nebenwirkungen sowie die beiden von differentialdiagnostischem Standpunkt aus wichtigen kornealen Thesaurismosen erläutert. Bei der Diagnostizierung der ziemlich häufigen Veränderung sind der Einsatz einer guten Spaltlampe und einer großen Vergrößerung von ausschalggebender Bedeutung.
