[aláírás nélkül] 64-66. lap EMIGRATION AT CROSSROADS On the Prehistory of the Hungarian National Committee by Lajos Gecsényi (Summary) The present source publication gives an insight into the political ideas of the Hungarian political elite which was forced to emigrate after WW II. Before the establishment of the Hungarian National Committee, the leading body of the emigration, Aladár Szegedy-Maszák, former Hungarian ambassador at Washington, circulated a questionnaire in which he inquired among his fellow emigrants about the program, location and organisational basis of the future committee. Four among the twenty-eight answers sent back to him are published here, which represent the various political views of the different groups within the Hungarian emigration.
