First documentary information concerning this ecclesiastic building was gave by Szirmay Antal, who is informing us that in 1241 the Dominican friary from Pelisor built in 1234 for the honour of St. Margaret by count Arnold, was destroyed by the Tartars. The circular hall was demolished at the end of XIX th century. We have no other information about the rotunda because of other Tartar invasion in 1717, when entire archive from Pelisor was set on fire.
