Ulmuspseudopyramidalis is very similar to U. drepanodonta Grubov, described from the Oligocène of Kazakhstan (GRUBOV in KRISHTOFOVICH et al. 1956). Both have leaves of the same size, shape, venation and marginal characteristics with simple teeth furnished with a small additional tooth. The only difference is that the leaves of U. pseudopyramidalis Z. Kvacek et Hably have not additional lobes in the upper part.
