Enghy Sándor Szövegünkben jól látható a palesztinai olvasás rendjére utaló 6,* 3 és vele együtt a babiloni olvasás szakaszainak rövidítése: tins.4 Nyilván ezeknek a szakaszoknak értelmi egységet kellett képezniük, mely meghatározta a szakasz kezdetét és végét. A Héber Biblia alapjául szolgáló Leningrádi Kódexben jól láthatók a szöveghatárt mutató jelek az lMóz 12,1-re vonatkozóan:5 Ha tartalmilag behatárolható szövegegységről beszélünk, joggal tűnik fel a figyelmes kutatónak, hogy míg a teremtésre összesen két fejezetet szán a kánon alkotója, addig Ábrahám története tizenhárom fejezetet ölel fel úgy, hogy a történet eleje és vége még két másik fejeztben is megvan azok részeként.6 Ebben az összefüggésben teljesen egyértelmű az új kezdet:7 a korábbi engedetlenséggel szemben Ábrahám engedelmesMasoretic studies, 1980, 40.; „(n+) ire - Pazer" - Lettinga, J.
