munkában, amit a mai élet diktál s az orvosok megfigyelése szerinte estére már mindenkin megállapítható a testi fáradtság mellett bizonyos fokú ideg kimerültség is.

Az ideges, idegbeteg emberiség most nagy érdeklődéssel figyel fel arra a hírre, hogy egy francia tudós tudományos kutatásai közben olyan szert talált, amely megakadályozza az ideggyulladás kifejlődését, sőt meg is gyógyítja a már kifejlődött idegbetegséget.

A szenzáció erejével hat, hogy ez a szer nem valami vegyi úton előállított orvosság, hanem egy újonnan felfedezett vitamin, amelyet a tudós kutató a sörélesztőben talált meg.

Budapesttől Kalkuttáig, a messze Indiáig bizony nagy az út s hetekbe tellett, amíg onnan ideérkezett a következő levél:

have observed that by nightfall everyone will exhibit signs of certain mental exhaustion, in addition to physical tiredness.

Hence this nervous and neurotic humanity will hearken with great interest to the news that a French scientific researcher has identified a remedy that will forestall neuritis from fully unfolding, and will in fact heal the already developed condition.

What makes the news especially sensational is that the remedy is not some chemically concocted drug but a newly discovered vitamin that the scientific research found in beer yeast.
