was mortgaged. In the course of the excavation only very small remains have been unearthed. The church of basilica type had three-aisles with three semicircular apses, and two western towers. Between the towers and in them a gallery was built. The monastery buildings were on the southern part of the church. From among the stones of the excavation only thirty pieces can be evaluated from stylistic-critical point. A group of carvings was unearthed in a pit of the southern aisle, where they had been buried in the course of a rebuilding. It is sure that part of the carvings did not become unnecessary in their original function. A group of carvings (catalogue 1-19) belong to the first building period at the end of the 11th - beginning of 12th century. From the time of later buildings only a Gothic cornice stone has remained. A large amount of red marble fragments are worth mentioning. More than thirty burials were excavated in the territory of the monastery, but there are only few stone fragments belonging to them.
