mid 16th century with a ditch and within it were the defending walls together with the annexes. The reason must have been the strengthening Ottoman fights at that territory. From this time on was the building named „mansion". Around the 1670' s at both ends storeyed rooms were added to the building. From the end of the 17th century, following the end of the Ottoman rule in Hungary, there was no need of a fortified mansion. The rebuilding took place however only around 1730-40. The fortifications were pulled down at that time, a second storey was built, and the whole building's style was Baroque. A park was planted around it, and the former ditch was preserved in it. The mansion was owned by the Sennyey family for more than a century in this form. In 1828 it was sold to the Bezerédj family. The new owner had rebuilt mainly its interiour, and in 1867 it was enlarged to its present state in NeogothicRomantic style. At that time the surrounding park was also enlarged and changed. Following this it was changed for a guest house in 1953 and was restored in 1983.
