CONTRIBUTION TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE AQUATIC COLEOPTERA OF THE BALATON LAKE In the frame of the scientific projects „Natural features of the Bakony Mountain" and „Fauna of the Balaton Lake" I investigated the aquatic insect fauna of the Balaton Lake in the year 1990. The list treats the collected aquatic Coleoptera associated with Balaton Lake in addition a supplementary account of species published earlier is given in brackets. The locality data of the old specimens are incomplete, indicating only the region or the names of villages or towns without the name of the respective aquatic habitats. The abbreviations of collector's names can be found at the end of the Hungarian text.
