J GIVES LECTURE Mr. Ferdinand Metzger, special correspondent of Hungarian and Italian newspapers, gave a lecture on Monday in the Japanese language on Hungaiian history and historic criticism pertaining to the Hun- , Avar legends dating back to the fifth century at Taisho University. Mr. Metzger also read selected poems of Alexander Petőfi, the great Hungarian poet and national hero who died in the battle for Hungarian liberty I in 1819. Dr. Kufakichi shiratori, professor emeritus of the Imperial University gave an Introductory address and Viscount Naokaau Nabeshima gave a short account of the present Japa- nese-Hungarian relations.
