(Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae ) were collected from various manure heaps at Abu-Rawash. Of 106 beetles, examined internally and externally, only 41 specimens (38.68 %), were found to be infested with external nematodes. The parasites were crowded only underneath the elytra. 779 nematode larvae were isolated from the infested individuals. They were reared on artificial cultures, attaining the adult stage . Microscopic examination, measurements and identifier «ion proved that they represented three nematode species: Mononchoides striatus (Bütschli, 1876) Goodey, 1963, Neoaplec tana bibionis Bovien, 1937, and Pelodera serrata (Körner in Osche, 1952) Dougherty, 1955« The two former species were found mixed under the elytra of 19 infested beetles, while the third species was found singly under the elytra of the remaining 22 infested beetles. Artificial cultures (potatoe-scrappings and nutrient-agar ) were used for rearing the nematode larvae. The former medium was less suitable than the latter for development, as verified by daily examination. The two latter nematode species were described before, the description of the third species is as follows: TO-
